What been happening in this Devlog?

Our Game Designer has been programming again and has been doing an excellent job! He has managed to incorporate a load/save function into the game, which is obviously a massive help. This keeps a track of the players progress, such as progress in game, currency saved & any upgrades chosen.

Our brilliant artists have been working on the vector art assets. Our Game Designer wanted the art style to be reminiscent of Helltaker, which I think that they have encapsulated amazingly!

I have been dabbling with character animations... what feels natural and what feels slightly off. This has meant I have been battling with Unity's animation system which is admittedly a steep learning curve, however, now that I have used it several time I am a lot more confident with the system and am really quite enjoying this new side of development! It has been a nice break from coding as well and I would like to expand these skills further in the future!

Organisation has been key for this devlog and our Game Designer has been very kind with the planning as we come to the end of Sprint 2 and other deadlines. This has taken a good chunk of pressure off the group.
